Scholarship Prgram

As a noble initiative by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah—may Allah protect and preserve him—the Scholarship Program was established in 1997. This program has achieved unprecedented success due to the generous care and high-level directives of His Highness, emphasizing the importance of enhancing and developing the program. These efforts have enabled the program to support a large segment of students at the University of Sharjah and the American University of Sharjah.

The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) had the honor of being entrusted by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi—may Allah protect and preserve him—with the supervision of this program and coordination with the University of Sharjah and the American University of Sharjah. Based on this mandate, SEWA exerts its utmost efforts to elevate and enhance the Scholarship Program to fulfill the noble goals for which it was established.
