Terms and Conditions for Scholarship Continuity

  • The beneficiary must enroll in their academic program immediately upon scholarship approval and continue without interruption.
  • The beneficiary must register for a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester (or equivalent). Credit hours covered by the scholarship will be deducted each semester from the total available scholarship credit hours.
  • The beneficiary must maintain a minimum semester GPA of 2.00 for at least 12 credit hours. If the GPA falls below 2.00 for a second time, the scholarship may be temporarily suspended.
  • The beneficiary is not permitted to transfer to another academic program without prior approval. Upon approval, credit hours already paid for will be deducted from the total available hours before the transfer.
  • The beneficiary may not suspend or withdraw from their studies without prior written approval from the granting authority. In such cases, the scholarship will be automatically revoked.
  • The scholarship covers English language preparatory program fees for up to two semesters. If the beneficiary fails the placement test, the scholarship will be suspended until proof of program completion is provided.
  • The beneficiary must be a full-time student. If found employed, the scholarship will be revoked and reimbursed from the date of employment.
  • The beneficiary must achieve the required score in one of the following aptitude tests: TOEFL, IELTS, or EMSAAT as per university or major requirements, within one academic year from the start of the English program.
  • The beneficiary must obtain their university degree within the standard program duration, not exceeding 10 semesters. An extension of one additional semester is allowed upon approval if it is the graduation semester. Medical students are exempted from this rule.
  • The beneficiary is responsible for any violations of the above conditions.

Cases for Scholarship Suspension

Suspension Requested by the Beneficiary:

  • A one-time suspension may be requested for one semester during the study period, subject to approval from the granting authority, under the following conditions:
    • A medically certified excuse acceptable to the granting authority.
    • Accompanying a patient abroad (must be a first or second-degree relative).

Suspension by the Granting Authority:

  • A second occurrence of a GPA below 2.00.
  • Failure to pass the required placement test after two semesters of English study.
  • Academic dismissal or disciplinary action due to a violation of university regulations. The student must bear the costs of the semester in which the dismissal occurs.

Cases for Scholarship Withdrawal

  • Failure to pass all registered courses in a semester.
  • A third instance of a GPA below 2.00 for 12 credit hours or equivalent.
  • Withdrawal or study interruption without notifying or receiving approval from the granting authority.
  • Enrolling in fewer than 12 credit hours (except in the final semester).

Scholarship Reinstatement Requests

  • The beneficiary may request a one-time reinstatement if the scholarship was suspended due to a low GPA.
  • Reinstatement is allowed after completing 12 credit hours at their own expense and achieving a GPA of 2.00 or above in the following semester or academic year (for annual programs).

Interruption of Studies

  • Interruption without notifying the granting authority will result in immediate scholarship withdrawal.
  • Interruption due to an unaccepted excuse will result in withdrawal.
  • Interruption with an approved excuse and prior approval results in temporary suspension for one semester, with a commitment not to interrupt studies again. One additional semester of suspension may be granted if necessary.
